Greenlix Technologies ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, and your rights under the Data Protection Act, 2019 of Kenya.

Information we collect
- Enquiries: when you use the contact form we collect your name, email, phone number (optional), organisation (optional), the service or product you are interested in and your message.
- Blog comments: your name, email address and comment. Your email is never published.
- Technical data: your IP address and browser type, recorded with enquiries and comments to help prevent spam and abuse.
- Job applications: if you apply for a job by email or through a linked form, we receive the information and documents you choose to send.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry, prepare quotations and provide our services.
- To publish your blog comment after review, and to notify you if we reply to it.
- To assess job applications.
- To keep this website secure and prevent spam.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for marketing without your consent.
Legal basis
We process your data based on your consent (for example, when you tick the consent box on the contact form), to take steps you have requested before entering into a contract with us, and for our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure.
Third-party services
We use trusted services to run this website: Google Fonts and Cloudflare (cdnjs) for fonts and icons, Google Maps for our location map, video platforms such as YouTube or Vimeo for demo videos, and Google (Gmail) to send and receive email. These providers may process limited technical data, such as your IP address, under their own privacy policies.
How long we keep data
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and to maintain our business records, and blog comments for as long as they are published. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
How we protect your data
Your data is stored securely and accessed only by authorised staff. Our admin area uses encrypted passwords, two-step email verification and activity logs, and the website is served over HTTPS on our live server.
Your rights
Under the Data Protection Act, 2019 you have the right to:
- be informed of how your data is used;
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate data, or have data deleted;
- object to the processing of your data.
